Established in 1966 by two enthusiasts of the sport of skiing, brothers Paul and James Van Doren, this californian brand (first called the "Van Doren Rubber Company") was addressed originally to the followers of the skateboard. The year of its appearance, it launched its first model "Authentic", the "Vans 4", who knows, since its beginnings, a reputation, which is encouraging.
