Our SF-1 robot, unique in France, allows us to process up to 100 pairs of skis per hour! It performs several essential tasks in the preparation and maintenance of ski equipment.
The first step is to prepare the bases using the sanding technique. This creates a smooth and uniform surface, which is essential for later adjusting the skis. The second step is to structure and flatten the ski.
Next, it's the turn of the edges to be sharpened, the steel parts located on each side of the skis. Sharpening the edges optimizes grip on the snow and allows for a more precise and pleasant glide.
The penultimate step is to smooth each edge and make them sharp enough to make turning easier.
Finally, the last step is waxing the bases. Not only does waxing increase the durability of your equipment, but it's also essential for skiing on any type of snow, regardless of the skiing conditions.
Thanks to our SF-1, daily ski maintenance is faster and more efficient.
